Classic Tennis Clothing

Modern tennis clothing has both good, bad, and ugly elements. The good has a lot to do with modern performance fabrics. Modern performance fabrics in tennis clothing wick away moisture and keep the player dry and comfortable while sweating on the court. Modern tennis fabric blends are stretchy and comfortable. They move with the player and do not cling or stick like 100% cotton tennis wear. Tennis fashions are best when they are classic and functional.

A classic style tennis dress designed in a modern performance fabric combines the best of both worlds. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this classy and classic look from Cruise Control. A classically white tennis dress made of performance moisture control and anti-bacterial fabric. The style plays it safe with an attractive white tank and skort. The skort has built-in compression shorts for ball storage. The performance fabric moves with you and does not cling, giving you the competitive advantage.

On the other hand, lately tennis clothing has just gotten out of control. That's where the ugly comes in. This frilly boudoir-can-can looking dress is completely out of place on the tennis court. In fact, it looks completely out of place anywhere accept maybe the late night club scene or the bedroom. The dress is lacy, black with red piping. She has paired it with tiny flesh colored tennis shorts that definitely play a trick on the eyes!

A naughty too-too type thing you might see hanging in Fredericks. I have trouble viewing this dress as comfortable or designed for a good game of tennis. Fashion is a matter of taste, but I can only say that I would feel ridiculous wearing this tennis dress. No matter what type of tennis clothing you choose, if you look good, you feel good. That translates to a better tennis game.
